Icy Ice rocks! Its an excellent business concept imo, especially considering that they seem to be the
only ones serving this kinda finely shaved ice that all Singaporeans love. Its obviously a very asian place, but I think that these guys got the formula right. And they've got unlimited Wifi to boot! In the time that I took to write the above words, I managed to download 1 episode of my favourite anime. It's DAMN FAST! All Jandakot dudes reading this just go down and download all the junk you need. Screw the slowpoke accomodation internet and screw the 3G broadband that you need to pay for!
Let's see... what's new in tinseltown... Passed not just my circuits Solo check, but also my Area Solo check. This means that I'm legally allowed to fly on my own for a couple of hours for each training interval. Was actually pushing far ahead in my training schedule for a while until an administrative catastrophe struck... My medical certificates were misplaced... So until I get them reissued, I'm stuck to flying dual sorties again.
My brother's getting married this weekend. Will be flying back to home to attend the joyous occasion. Here's wishing him and his wife-to-be everlasting Love, never-ending romance, and the greatest of Joy.
I've joined the Perth Great Bike Ride!! 53km grueling road ride around swan river/lake. Gotta start increasing the distance that I normally ride to prepare for the event man. And like all great events, this one is championing 3 charity events. These are: the Heart Foundation, St John of God Foundation Lighthouse Project and Hope for Children. My company has sent in a team of riders (which obviously include myself) for the 53km ride, and as a team we hope to raise $500 for these charities. My own personal goal out of that $500 is $100. So, please help out the kids, the Lighthouse Project, and the Heart foundation by donating some cash. I'll give you the donation link:

The team page link is as below, (in case you want to join our team from Jandakot and meet some pilot hunks... :D )

If you have been reading this blog so far, please donate! I know that the beneficiaries will really appreciate it, and so will I. :)
Watched Ratatoullie and Resident Evil 3. Both excellent shows, but my advice is to watch the former and skip the latter. One's got a nice fuzzy general appeal, while you have to be a fan of RE3 to really appreciate the show.
On with the pictures!!

Strawberries!!! Red, ripe, juicy, plump strawberries!!! But its quite the luck of the draw with these ones. And the quality has nothing much to do with it being cheap or expensive. Had a run of 3 perfect baskets at the beginning of my strawberry experience, but on my last venture, netted sour, mouldy ones... (or maybe its just a function of not buying from the old guy...)

Gelare's Gelato. Pure heaven without sin... I like that. And they allow you to bring it into the cinemas. Singapore cinemas should learn a thing or two about this.

Soya Bean curb in Australia. Even better quality than some back home. The curd
consistency is smooth, while at the same time being oh so soft. And you can taste
the real taste of the beans in this one. Joy Garden is the name of the resto serving
this one for Dim Sum brekkie/lunches. Its on the same street as Formosa.

Beriyani!! Jalan Kayu standard I swear. Discovered it via word-of-mouth from Jandakot Airport trainees... Its a regular hangout of trainees
now.. so it goes to show,
shop keepers better treat pilot trainees well if they want good word-of-mouth.
Tuesday is 1/2 priced waffle day... Chocolate Overload. Nuff said... *Homer gargle*

Haole covering up his love bites at Icy Ice. I LOVE that scarf look btw...

Joe pretending to be camera shy.... Aw.....

Icy Ice's counter. The above 3 pics were taken with my Laptop inbuilt camera.
Hands were not very steady, so pls forgive the lack of sharpness.
Next week: Aces going Places- A Journey to the centre of the Universe. NOT by Jules Verne.
